Eventuri carbon intake system for BMW E6x M5 M6

The Eventuri Carbon Intake System for BMW E60 M5 and E63 M6 was developed to increase engine performance, improve handling and enhance the overall driving experience. The main aspects lie in the balance between aerodynamic efficiency and air inlet temperature. An open system was chosen, but with differences to other airboxes from the accessories. This can be seen in the shape of the carbon housing as well as the position and shape of the air filter. The inverted cone-shaped filter, which is also covered in carbon fiber, creates the so-called Venturi effect. Due to the resulting uniform laminar air flow, a performance increase of +15 hp is realistic. The airbox is manufactured using the prepreg carbon process.
