The Audi C7 S6/S7 Eventuri intake system sets a new benchmark for the intake system on this platform. It is designed to achieve two goals - 1) Relieve strain on the turbo inlet paths. 2) Maintaining low inlet temperatures. The first goal was achieved by equipping each turbo with a separate filter and venturi funnel to reduce drag and allow the turbos to work more efficiently. The second objective was achieved by enclosing the filters in a carbon air chamber and feeding them with an additional scoop mounted behind the front grille. The engine compartment of the C7 RS6/RS7 has multiple heat sources from different directions, so a simple configuration of open filters and shields would result in higher IAT values. Our carbon airbox enclosure has been designed to maximize the available volume and block all heat sources. The resulting performance improvements and aesthetics for the C7 S6/S7 are industry-leading.
The Eventuri Difference
The C7 S6/S7 Eventuri system uses 2 Eventuri funnels that are mounted on the filters and flow seamlessly into the turbo pipes. These provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filters to the turbos. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that creates the Venturi effect and allows laminar flow through the tubes, reducing the resistance of the turbos.
