The intake system of the F56 MINI Eventuri is another example of our “complete system” principle. It is a sealed system that ensures that the turbocharger does not suck in hot air from the engine compartment, but is complemented by a functional hood scoop that pushes ambient air into the intake duct. This duct has a larger internal volume than the stock version and also draws air from the stock position above the radiator. The combination of a sealed system with an air scoop results in lower intake temperatures than the standard airbox and avoids heat build-up, which is a common problem, particularly in higher-performance MINIs. To ensure the most consistent flow possible, we use our patented filter housing in conjunction with a CNC machined MAF tube to ensure the most consistent flow to the turbo.
